The HITT country teams work with partner organisations provide or facilitate TVET, playing pivotal roles in the inception and implementation phases by carrying out a mix of the needs assessment, HITT material adaptation, training-of-trainers, direct training and evaluation activities. In most cases, the team has a formal partnership with one organisation, while it collaborates with others according to specific needs. The partner organisations include:


Fonds De Developpement de la Formation Professionnelle Continue et de L’Apprentissage (FODEFCA) assists companies in defining and developing training plans, managing resources for training and supports the quality of training provision. FODEFCA has managed several vocational education training projects funded by the World Bank, ILO and Swiss Cooperation. It sub-contracts local organisations with specific training knowledge.

Opportunities Industrialization Centers Ghana (OIC Ghana)Opportunities Industrialisation Centre Ghana (OICG) is an affiliate of Opportunities Industrialisation Centre (OIC) International, a human resources development organisation, which provides training to unemployed disadvantaged youth. OICG has trained 8,846 young people over the last nine years.
